SETDA established the SLY Award to recognize an active SETDA member, who meets the selection criteria, who has exhibited outstanding leadership in (1) integrating technology effectively in his/her state to improve student learning, (2) collaborating with peers through SETDA initiatives thereby affecting positive change for the organization and its members, and (3) engaging within the broad education and education technology communities to ensure the effective integration of technology in learning to improve student achievement.
